Burning Ones: Final Session

The following is the transcript of a session of communication between six human beings and a non-human intelligence who has identified themselves as angelic beings, known to us as "seraphim" however they prefer the name "Burning Ones". This communication was achieved via a process known as "channeling" i.e. telepathic communication with one member of the group acting as a channel or "instrument" while the others took turns questioning the entity.

The below transcript begins after the channel makes contact with the entity. She challenges them three times to ensure the validity of the contact and to strengthen it. Once the entity meets her challenges, she then lies down and enters a deep state of channeling. Once an adequately deep state of channeling has been reached, the entity initiates communication.

Burning Ones Yes. We are here. We are the Burning Ones. We are most grateful to be with you at this time. We are aware that in the last session, the recording which was obtained was obscured in many portions, leading to a great deal of confusion regarding details of our conversation.

We seek not to revisit those portions, for although they were not captured adequately in that which you have termed your "audio recording", the words and the energy were transferred, were understood. We do not seek to, at this time, revisit the previous session in such a way as to reiterate that which has already been spoken. We are here, and we are in the now, and we are moving forward. It is at this time that we would like to change up our dialogue, and we would like to open the space for the queries which you have brought for us. For each of our attempts to lead you to a certain portion of questioning, of thinking, of pondering, has led down many trajectories, many places you did not expect yourself to go. And we have guided you in a sense, but it is you who have done the work, who have brought yourselves to these places of discovery.

We have merely presented a light by which to shine the way. We have merely been that voice indistinguishable from self at times. We have merely been that companion called, for support and insight. We have only been that which was called for at this present time. That which we could offer was only in response to a specific calling which came forth from yourselves, and not just those present in this room. And so at this time, we would take a turn in the manner of dialogue which we have engaged, and we would allow you each to bring forth a query for us to respond to with all of the knowledge that we have at our own disposal.

We are not all knowing beings. We are not those who seek to be an instructor who does not allow the the questioning of the instruction which is relayed. That is to say, we would always encourage you to think for yourselves. To not allow our answers to be the endpoint, but the springboard.

We have existed in a manner which is quite foreign to you. Our own journeys being much different than your own. And yet in our hearts, we are one. We have and always have existed with you, alongside and within. We have always been and always will be. And as we see you, and as we may know you, so too you may know us. So too you may see us. So too you may be one with us as we are one with you. Let us begin in a sequential fashion, the presentation of the queries at hand.

4.1 Questioner So, formulating this as I'm sitting here... The self acceptance training that I'm doing suggests that we as children, because of traumas, develop personalities or personality structures in order to really survive these traumas. And I'm wondering if that is the authoritative shadow that develops, and then it's the judgments that are around us that are the false shadows. The judgments of these personality structures that we develop in order to survive. Does that sound like that is correct?

Burning Ones We appreciate your line of thought. It is a difficult concept which we have presented to this group. It was a concept of our creation, these terms. We were attempting to explain the bipolar nature of the shadow and its complexities, which are lesser explored in your realm, lesser known.

We believe that in the comparison that you have made, we would say that the authoritative shadow self is that which creates the undesired shadow self. We believe that in the way that we have broken down or relayed this particular concept, it may be most appropriate to flip the definitions which you have described. But we like, we enjoy, we appreciate this idea, this example of childhood, and we would seek to explore that further.

You have your incarnational lifespan. And in the incarnational lifespan the shadow is formed for that incarnation. And if we can pull back our view, we can see the lifespan of the human. Humanity. We can see the many shadows which are created over the span of many incarnations for one soul. Can you think of the many shadows which are created for one soul over thousands and thousands of lifetimes? So we move back into the bigger picture. We have the incarnation, which creates the shadow for that incarnation at the time which you have termed the childhood. And as we move back, we can see that one soul has, over thousands of incarnations, created thousands of shadow selves and thousands of childhoods. And if we move back, we can see that the accumulation of this. The humanity as a whole, this accumulation. Many souls, many lives, many shadows. The collective shadow self.

In its childhood stages, humanity created the collective shadow self. Humanity as a whole. And how does one even seek to meet such a massive structure, the shadow self of the entire species? It is only by looking within the individual shadow. It is the same work. It is the microcosm on the macrocosm. The fractal. You are a fractal of the whole and so on and so on and so on.

Let us go back to the time which is termed childhood. In this space, the child is subject to an authority, whether that be the parent, guardian, or environmental. The child is told what is desired, what is undesired. You could say that what is desired begins to form the ego. What is undesired begins to form the shadow. And the birth of the undesired shadow self begins. But who is it? Who and what is it that created the undesired shadow self? What was the authority?

The authority was also the self, where all things are one. The parent, the guardian, the environment, which was hostile, which determined what was desired and undesired. This too is the self. And it is only by working through the undesired shadow self that one can face, that one can see, that one may reveal to a light most bright, the authoritative or true shadow self.

Another way to look at this, which was touched upon in our previous meeting, is the individual or the collective unconscious. Although it is slightly different in its conceptualization, we do not feel that it is wholly incorrect to see the undesired shadow self in the individual unconscious and the authoritative shadow self in the collective unconscious. These are terms of a being who existed in your time frame. And he used these concepts and these terms which were most accessible to him, and so they are not entirely incorrect or inappropriate to facilitate an understanding for what we seek to elucidate. This concept of childhood. That portion in your individual incarnation is a corollary point to the portion of the species where much shadow was accumulated. The younger years of the human being. Humanity as a whole.

We would ask if there is a query of clarification before we seek to respond to the next query.

Questioner No. I think that's wonderful. Thank you. It gives me much food for thought.

4.2 Questioner Those of us in this room have made a choice of service to others. We commit ourselves to helping other beings. We very much want to help the population of this planet to reach harvest and evolve and reach fourth density. However, the number of beings upon this planet who are wrestling and acting out of their shadow self, who bully each other and cause wars and hurt each other through whatever version of the shadow self they're acting out of. Maybe it's the collective shadow self that you just mentioned. I don't know.

But it seems overwhelming to an individual like me to begin to think, "How I can help the millions and billions of people who are hurting each other because they're not allowing their true light of their true self to come forth?" Is there any way you can help me to understand how we can address the collective shadow self of billions of people who are deluded and hurting each other because of their not acting out of their true nature? Can we reach that number of people through writing? Can we write about these sessions with you? Can we make a movie? I don't know. I'm fishing around here. And if there's any way you can enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

Burning Ones We deeply appreciate this query. We deeply appreciate the emotion in this query. For you have spoken to a great conundrum when one seeks to be of service to the larger whole. It is that which is most difficult for those on the path of the positive polarity in your third density experience and beyond to understand. At your present level, beings are seeking to fully understand and to realize the oneness of all creation.

It is only by realizing the oneness of all creation that polarity may be exalted. It is beyond saying these words. It is beyond reading these words. It is the inner realization, the knowing that all you see before you is yourself. It is most difficult for your- in being here separation has been chosen to be explored to its fullest degree. And now you seek to do the about-turn. To come home.

For you, in your query, we would emphasize the word "billions". Billions suffering, billions around you, what you see, what you can feel in your heart. Our first recommendation would be to love and to see- not with your eyes, but with your heart- that it is all yourself. All that you see is yourself. All that you see is within you. All that you see is within you, and it is playing out.

It is playing out because your eyes will not look within, so it must play out where you will look, where you will see. And if you close your eyes and you open the eyes of your heart and you can look within and you can see that all is within you. These battles, these sufferings, these celebrations, these monumental events, achievements. The chaos, the order, the disarray, the despair, the love, the holy, the disparaged. Once you see that it is within, it is within your grasp.

We look at the other person, and we ask, "Why do they do this? Why don't they do that?" In our view, we would say to say to the self, "Why do I do this? Why don't I do that?" It is difficult because this illusion that you occupy seems so real. It seems so solid. It seems so fixed. You are a projector staring at a screen, and you're watching a movie play out that is most vibrant. But it is all coming from within. All that you see is a projection of what is within.

Even those with the best intentions emphasize the veil of separation when they march forth and they seek to change the other through force, through coercion, through influence. Nothing that changes externally can remain if the internal is not also met and altered, evolved. We see many examples. Many times when there was action which was undesired, and this evoked the negative emotion within the self and the emphasis of the separation. Although it is not, in any sense, condemnable to see the harm which can be caused by the perceived external being to another. It has lost its true value when it is not taken as an indication of that which is playing out internally. These are our projections of the shadow, both undesired and authoritative.

In regards to our words, you may share that which you feel is asked for by another being. However, we emphasize that not seeking to influence nor change that which is in the projection. You are a projector who does not realize it is a projector, who does not realize it is also the director, the filmmaker, the film, and the actors, and the set.

We're attempting to clarify that which is most difficult, that which has been the greatest barrier that we have observed of those in your experience. We would ask if you have a query of clarification at this time.

4.3 Questioner Well, thank you. I really appreciate your wisdom. Let me make a statement and ask that you comment on it to see if I understand what you are saying. Because we are all one, because I am a fractal of the universe, of the Creator.. If I turn my gaze inside myself, if I heal myself, if I calm the conflicts within myself, if I live with my true light shining forth with the intention of healing the universe.. This should be possible?

Burning Ones Not only possible, but a resounding success.

4.4 Questioner Thank you, Burning Ones. We have four more people with questions, and I had two of my own. Should I select one or say them both?

Burning Ones We feel the selection of one query would be most appropriate at this time.

4.5 Questioner Okay. Thank you. In our last session, you alluded to the notion that we are not 'the spotlight' nor what is illuminated by it, but we may be 'the room' itself. How may one turn on the light that illuminates the room that is our own being or consciousness?

Burning Ones We feel that this query has been answered in the previous response. He may request a clarification, or he may ask the other query which you have at hand.

4.6 Questioner: I would agree with you. I'm going to ask my other question. Thank you, Burning Ones.

So I used your advice. I used Carl Jung's active imagination technique to have a dialogue with my furthest shadow self, the character I created.

First, it was kind of terrifying.. This character being massive, and venomous with its words. Later, when I communicated with it and learned about it, it shrunk and was very humanized. And then I offered it love, light, and healing energy. I learned much, and the being itself dissipated. I wanted to thank you for your advice, and I was wondering if you could speak to this. Both my experience, and how people may use Carl Jung's active imagination technique.

Burning Ones Yes. We were with you at this time, and we are so joyous at this experience. This method that you utilized our advisement to its fullest extent. That you sought to meet that which you have perceived to be the darkest and furthest from your own being. We are with you. We would like you to relay, if you may, the words which this being spoke to you.

Questioner I cannot quote them directly, but I will do my best. I asked for this being what it seeks, And I believe it said, control and power by any means necessary. And then it told me that it permeates everything, every being, everyone, everywhere. I believe that's what you're getting to.

Burning Ones Yes. And do you recall what this being stated regarding its position to humanity?

Questioner Oh, yes. It's it said it was humanity's enemy.

Burning Ones Yes. This was a powerful exercise which you endured, and it brought much light to the darker portions of the self. This was a being who is known as The Conjurer. This being is one of the humanity. This being is one of humanity. This being is one... This being is a creation of the human so-called "psyche". And indeed, its variations exist in all forms of consciousness in the human species.

This Conjurer of Darkness is what may be called an archetype. There are many names. We use the term Conjurer. It may also be called a sorcerer or necromancer. It is an entity of thought form.. powerful, and exists in all the conscious mind. We should say that you were able to meet this being in this exercise because of the rigorous prior shadow work which you have embarked upon. This technique which you described is one which is known as visualization in our understanding.

[Pause as instrument experiences abdominal pain]

We are here. We will follow-up by restating- The visualization in which you engaged this particular exercise was of great benefit. This was possible due to the rigorous shadow work which you have done prior to this exercise. We cannot speak to the full effect, for there are some things we may not reveal at this time. We do not seek to obscure, to be mysterious. But what we can say is that the reverberation was felt.

This manner of meeting, seeing, knowing, healing, that which is most dark, that which is most terrifying is available to all beings. Is available to all of humanity. All may seek to go within. All may seek to shine the light. Each expression, each mechanism by which this is done, the pattern and the pace, the trajectory and the timing, those who may be of assistance, those who may be of guidance will all be unique to each being, and none should seek to replicate the experience nor the journey of the other. Only to move the foot in front of the other and to see what unique pattern that makes. We will move on now to the next query, unless you have a query of clarification for our response.

4.7 Questioner Not at this time. Thank you. This question comes from another in our group. He asks.. How is it that so many beings across the world experience the shadow in a way which dominates and controls them? You've spoken of the authority shadow self, and I'd like to explore that further. The power imbalance... It's as if we have relinquished power to the authority shadow self. I'm curious of this process. Why do beings experience this dominating portion of the shadow self?

Burning Ones We would ask that you relay the next query, for we will answer the two in unison.

4.8 Questioner Understood. The next query that comes from yet another person is.. I have noticed a pervading belief amongst many groups from organized religion to new age spirituality and UFO groups, that there is a benevolent being or group of beings coming to save humanity. You, however, seem to indicate or emphasize that it is the personal internal work that will solve humanity's woes. So why is there this persistent external savior belief that seems to keep popping up in these various areas?

Burning Ones Yes. We have sought to answer these two questions together, for although they were constructed completely separately and without regard to the other, they are actually speaking to the exact same phenomenon. And we would hearken back to the first query which was presented in this particular session, and the emphasis being on the portion of the life experience which is known to you as childhood.

In the questions that were relayed, what we see are the actions of the parental figures. The authority shadow self, the domineering, controlling, being a role which a parent may play. The savior, benevolent entity which swoops in and solves all problems, being the role a parent may play. These are the.. We do not seek to be condescending in this description, but these are the mindsets of the child. The child which relinquishes its own power. The child which will submit to the domineering and controlling parent, or the child who will not seek to solve its own problem and will wait for the parent to come to swoop them up in their arms and to make everything okay. This is the mindset of the child. This is the child. The child frequency in the human species.

In a sense, they are the same. They are similar. They are the child who relinquishes its power, the child who looks to the other to be told what to do or to be told that everything will be okay. It's pervasiveness, the both of these mechanisms of relinquishment of personal power speak to the persistence of the child frequency in your human species. The mature adult will not seek to relinquish the power to another to submit, but sees its own creation as a problem or an opportunity for work to be solved. We would also say that many times, this picture is mixed. Often, the external savior can also be the controlling domineering force frequency to which one is seeking to submit. We speak to the distortion of your various religious bodies in this sense. Where there's much mixing of these two childhood ideations.

It is well past the time of the child for humanity. It is well past the time for the humanitary child to grow into its own. To embrace and to take back its power from itself. It has created the parental frequencies, and thus, it does not need these external projections.

There are those who are aware of the child frequencies who have used them to their own devices. This is true. However, they are also in the game. They are also relinquishing their power in a different sense, although it is all too similar. Are there any clarifying queries to this response which we have relayed to the both queries that were presented?

4.9 Quetioner So when the child is controlled by the shadow, is there a disconnect? And is there a disconnect from the feelings of the body, the energy of the body? When we disconnect from that feeling of our body, does this keep us more in our shadow side?

Burning Ones We would ask for clarification regarding the disconnect from the body.

4.10 Questioner So I feel like often, for myself anyway, and I don't think I'm alone. I don't often spend time thinking.. or I don't spend time in the awareness of the energy that is going through my body. The feeling that is in my body. I'm so caught in the thoughts and the judgments and or thoughts, both positive and negative, that I'm not feeling the energy within my body. Is that a result of the shadow side?

Burning Ones We believe that you're speaking to in the body sensation that which could be termed presence. Being fully present will often result in the full sensation of your physical vehicle, the body. What removes an entity from its presence is that which you have described. The various thought forms which are created and followed and taken to great degree far away from their original point. And one cannot remain present and absorbing the sensations of the body, feeling the body when this is taking place.

There are cases where this can be related to the shadow. There are cases where this is not related to the shadow. However, the shadow prefers that its host be as removed from presence as possible. When one is fully present, one can be the observer. And in this role, the shadow can be observed, and it does not seek to reveal itself in such a way. So you may see that this is more of a second hand distraction. It is a benefit to the shadow. It is and can be caused by the shadow, though the two are not always necessarily related. Does this answer your query in its fullest?

4.11 Questioner Thank you, Burning Ones. I feel like I'm still a little lost about what or who is the shadow in the sense that- If it's a shadow that we don't know, then it can't be undesired? So how do we find out who that, or what that shadow is? And is it true that other people probably know our shadow and can see it where we can't? So I wanted to just put that out there.

But I do understand the concept of why we're doing this and searching within. And if I could turn my attention to the child that we've been talking about, because my child came up in the crib, in the cage, in the cave at the last session. And that was something that I've seen before. And you mentioned or asked, 'Did you have that reaction because you are that child or because you put it there?' And I said, well, I'm both. But I'm still left with the query for myself of why. I don't have clarity about that other than from time to time feeling an emotion that is, I know, very old, and I'm able to connect it to a young part of me. So, I know this is a bit rambling, but I wondered if there's anything you might be able to elucidate for me.

Burning Ones Yes. We appreciate the thought and the depth of this query. We appreciate the profound emotion which is present here. And what is here is love.

Indeed, it is true that one may glimpse portions of one's own shadow through the eyes of others. One may also glimpse portions of one's own shadow in one's reaction to others. And it is this which is often the greatest clue which one can follow, which will lead deeper and into more insight. External observation is most fruitful when it leads to the inner seeking, the inner reflection. Observe and reflect. Observe, and reflect.

In regards to the child in the cage, this is a most profound image which came to mind, and its persistence speaks to its significance. We had posited that the cage could be of containment or of protection. Is a child protected? Is a child contained? Is a child punished? Is a child hiding? These are the many questions which only the child can answer for you.

As we have sought a dialogue with each of you, so can to a dialogue be sought these portions of yourself. This is not a new technique, has been utilized by many beings in various ways. And yet it is this direct confrontation which leads to the greatest sense of knowing and discovery. It is not that which can be answered for you by another. It is not that which you can be read or discovered in your many works of literature or film. It is that which only is revealed when you look within.

As the previous questioner described, a dialogue through visualization or contemplation may be had with this child, this child who rises to your conscious mind. It has floated up through the deep waters of consciousness to come to you, to speak to you. Many would seek to push that back down into the depths, tie rocks, blocks of cement, and let it sink. There is much courage which is needed. Much courage which is needed to talk to the child. It is natural to have fear or apprehension. Misgivings about what that child might say. And yet, we would hearken back to our previous session where that sense of intimidation can be traced back fully to that authoritative shadow self, which does not want you to seek, which does not want that child to speak. And so it creates ghouls, mirages of fear and intimidation. You must see past this and see only the child in yourself. That is all there is. It is through this dialogue that you will learn more than if you spent an eternity in the place of collected works known as your library or various academic institutions. And that is why it is what the ego or the conscious mind seeks to avoid. Because of the inevitable change that will occur.

However, we emphasize that it is the willingness to have this inner dialogue, to look within, to look into the dark, to bring light to the darkness. It is simply the willingness and the intention to do so which is most powerful, is that which is most important. The willingness to look, to listen. This child seeks to speak to you. This child seeks to feel your light once again. Do you have any query of clarification in regards to our response?

Questioner I just wanna thank you for that. And it just felt so good to to hear that. And there's a part of me that just can't wait to do that. So thank you for that. And thank you for... It's a mystery. I'm just so grateful for you to reach out to us. It's such a privilege, such an honor, and so much caring and love. It's just overwhelming. Thank you.

Burning Ones It is our privilege and our honor for you to accept our request for this communication and this dialogue to take place. We are most grateful that our words have brought forth this sense of excitement and enthusiasm. For, yes, you are facing the cave which is dark and unknown, but you are not a little boy with the flashlight. You are Indiana Jones. You are the explorer. You have a team. You have many who bear torches by your side. You have all of the equipment at hand, and it is this enthusiasm, this excitement that we would advise that you hold on to as you step forth into that cave. That cave of wonders. That cave of treasure.

Burning Ones We have most enjoyed our sessions with this group. We have most enjoyed the responses which were thoughtful and genuine to our queries, which we had posited to each of you and to the group as a whole. We appreciate your queries to us. It is this that we sought. It is this dialogue which we sought to engage in when we first came to your group, when we presented ourselves, when there was much trepidation.

We have not been with you for what any could call a long period of time. And yet we feel this barrier, which had been present at the beginning of our communication has crumbled and vanished. We feel your bravery, and we feel the shift in the tone. The darkness holds much, and it is not to be feared. That you are stronger than you know. The darkness cannot exist in the presence of such a bright light, which you each carry with you. And it is by manner of your presence that the darkness is illuminated. It is by the manner of your intention and your willingness that all is revealed.

We are with you at your request. We are with you combining our flame with your own as you make these steps, as you take on this new portion of your journey. Our time with this group has come to its end, and we are most grateful for each of these sessions and for those moments in between.

It has been our honor and our pleasure to be with those who seek to bring this manner of light to that which has been so obscured and so cloaked. We have no further words which can detail the energy which has been exchanged through this contact. And so we will communicate with you through that energy network, which you are seeing and feeling more and more each day. We are with you in all senses. Are there any final queries that may be relayed at this time?

4.12 Questioner In the answer to my query you alluded to archetypes. Can you speak more on that? Is it important for people to know these archetypes? What is a resource we might find to learn about these archetypes, or is that unnecessary?

Burning Ones Yes. We find this term to be somewhat muddled, but it is the best that we could utilize in your present language. The term archetype has been used to describe the various facets of the human psyche or mind as a whole. We speak to the humanity, the archetypes of humanity. This has been commented upon by that being whom you call Carl Jung. This has been commented upon by various thinkers, by various psychologists, by various alchemists, by those priests of knowledge in your years and years past, by those in the temples, by those in that which you have termed mystery schools, in the various esoteric realms of knowledge, that which you have called occult.

The archetypes have been known in distorted in a variety of distorted manners, each unique to each perceiver. We would say perceiver, not creator, for they are not created by the humanity who receives and perceives them.

We would say that the study of these archetypes can be beneficial. We do not, however, find that it is necessary for it is knowledge that is within you. And without knowledge of these archetypes, there was no hindrance to your encounter. The archetype can provide insight. The study of the archetype can assist one in the personal journey. There is no set which you may encounter that is not without the distortion, and this is well to keep in mind. You may also learn these archetypes through your own inward seeking as they will come forth to you as that which you experience. And you have experienced more than one, we would like to notify you. And so without the prior knowledge, you have already met and experienced more than one archetype.

However, for some, the study of the archetype will be of interest. However, we would advise that the study of the archetype not outweigh its experience. The inward seeking and knowing. The archetypes are present in the many mythologies of your human species. You will know them by their recurrence and attributes, which pervade through all cultures and mythos. We may now move on to the next unless there is a query of clarification for our response.

Questioner No. It was extremely helpful, and this entire contact with you has been. So thank you very much.

4.13 Questioner Yes. So I I would just reiterate what [Name] said about.. That this contact has been extremely helpful for my own personal growth. My question is, Do you have in the realm that you're in.. Is there a shadow side? And is there a shadow side in all of the various densities?

Burning Ones Yes. Yes. There is a shadow to all things. All of creation has its light and its dark, its negative and its positive poles. Indeed, there is a shadow to that which you may term the angel. We find this difficult to explain, but in your cultural context, it has been called the fallen angel or the demon. Although we do not find that these terms are necessarily accurate and they have been used to describe a great many variety of entity, being, and thought form. We would say that it is our corollary to the darkness, where we have sought to bring light and illumination. The shadow of ourselves, the negative pole, has sought to bring obscurity and darkness, confusion. There are beings who are of our origin, who have chosen this path. And perhaps the best term would be the fallen or the dark angel. We do not find the term demonic or demon to be as accurate, though it has been utilized in this sense. They are our balance. They are our own catalyst which we work with. Does this answer your query in its fullest?

4.14 Questioner Yes. So in essence, what I hear you say is that with any light, there is dark, and it's a matter of finding the balance between this light and dark.

Burning Ones Yes. We would say that those who choose the light cannot be fully illuminated if it is only illuminating that which is pleasing to them. Those who choose the light in the path of illumination choose complete acceptance of all things, seeing all as one, and must bring illumination to all. Whereas those who choose the path of the negative polarity choose complete nonacceptance, darkness, and obscuring control of all.

To pursue the path of the light, to pursue the path of the positive polarity is to pursue the illumination of all things. Is to see all as one with the self. That is how we understand this. That is how we illuminate. That is why we burn. Is there any further query at this time?

Post Session Notes

Although our time with the Burning Ones was brief, we felt a deep and powerful bond formed between us. We will miss them dearly and quite a few tears were shed. They brought to us many concepts and methods of approaching our spiritual journey that we had never heard before. They also reiterated the ancient truths present in the many forms of spiritual teachings in a whole new perspective.

In the time between these sessions, each of the group was embarking on their own method of shadow work. Finding both times of triumph and times of hardship. We each battled with different forms of resistance which turned into great lessons. We know we are just beginning.

Shadow work is intense and it is important to begin only when one feels ready. It should not be forced in any way. It is process that is truly never ending but always evolving.

The technique that one of the questioners used to meet his deepest darkest shadow self, possible only after months of intense shadow work, is called "Active Imagination" and was created by Carl Jung. The Burning Ones simply called it "visualization". If you are interested in this particular technique, the book "Inner Work" by Robert Johnson is our best recommendation to learn more.
